Vicarage Hill, Alton
This project related to the residential redevelopment of the former Hampshire County Council Library site in Alton, Hampshire.
In September 2004, on behalf of retained clients, a design and financial bid document was submitted to Hampshire County Council, based upon the redevelopment of this Town Centre Conservation Area site
The proposal involved the design of a 3-storey building containing 12 apartments configured as ground floor 1-bedroom flats with 2-bedroom maisonettes at the upper level. Car parking was provided on site on a 1:1 ratio.
The residential building was designed to reflect the scale and character of the new Hampshire County Council library building adjoining the redundant site.
