York Road, Guildford
Located within Guildford’s Town Centre Conservation Area, this project involved the construction of 13 apartments together with the conversion of an existing garage / coach house, to provide 6 x 2-bedroom and 8 x 1-bedroom units consequent upon the demolition of a pair of 1930’s semi detached dwellings.
On behalf of clients Cranborne Limited a detailed Town Planning application was submitted to Guildford Borough Council during December 2004.
The project was designed to achieve and reflect the character of the neighbourhood in terms of height, scale and integration within the cohesive street scene of 3-storey Victorian villas.
Cranborne sold their interest in the site to residential developers Antler Homes, who built out the project as illustrated by the images of the completed project.
