Commercial Projects

50/50a West Street, Farnham, Surrey.

In 1984 Haworth King Partnership was commissioned to secure Town Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent for the refurbishment and extensions to an existing building (now Listed by the DoE) located in Farnham's Central Conservation Area.

The building, constructed in the late 19th Century, is celebrated for the fact that the first British petrol driven motor car was designed and constructed there in 1895 by John Henry Knight. The car is now in the Beaulieu Motor Museum.
